About Me

The creator and host of the LIFE IN FILM Podcast is British actor
Elliot J Langridge. 
 

Elliot’s career started in television, with his film debut in 2014 as the lead role in BAFTA nominated feature film ‘Northern Soul’, directed by Elaine Constantine.

 

Other roles include Netflix’s historical WW1 drama ‘The War Below’ with Sam Hazeldine and Tom Goodman-Hill; ‘We the Kings’ voted Best UK Feature Film at Raindance film festival, alongside Timothy West; ‘Beautiful Devils’ playing Iago in a modern adaptation of Othello and sharing the small screen with Gemma Arterton in ‘Funny Women’ for Sky TV.

 
Elliot started the podcast in order to provide a peek behind the curtain on life in the film industry and help answer some of those burning questions about how some of the most iconic careers got started. Previous guests include actors such as Matthew Broderick, Willem Dafoe, Stephen Graham, Ke Huy Quan and Steve Coogan as well as iconic filmmakers including Jerry Bruckheimer, Bonnie Timmermann, Chris Columbas, Gus Van Sant, Edgar Wright & many more.
